Navigating the Waves of Voiceover: A Personal Journey
Hi there! My name is Annabel Rosario, and I'm passionate about voiceover. My ultimate goal is to be a creative voiceover actor in video games and animation. At the moment, I'm working a retail job to fund my dream.
The Voiceover Dream: I aspire to become a full-time voiceover actor with a constant flow of projects. I find fulfillment in portraying different characters and perspectives.
Financial Hurdles: After setting up a closet studio with top-of-the-line equipment, I encountered a financial obstacle. I wasn't getting work and didn't have a backup plan. That's when I was contacted through Ziprecruiter for a retail job at a buy/sell store. This job helped me become less desperate during my auditions. Even after my shifts, I still dedicate myself to my voiceover auditions and I am now able to pay my bills on time!
Balancing Creativity: Navigating the demands of a retail job, I've found rejuvenation in the art of film editing. Despite the challenges, immersing myself in the intricacies of editing not only keeps my technical skills sharp but also fuels my creative spirit. Juggling retail realities and cinematic dreams, this dual pursuit not only maintains my passion for the craft but also enhances my skills in both realms. It's a delicate balance, but the symbiotic relationship between my retail job and film editing has become the glue that keeps my creative spark burning brightly.
A Robot Named Jenna: Embarking on the incredible journey with Good Theory has been nothing short of a dream come true. My unique opportunity to embody a robot named Jenna for an attraction in Orlando, crafted in collaboration with ATL (Attractions Technology Lab), has been a testament to the intersection of technology and creativity. Working closely with ATL not only allowed me to contribute my voice to this immersive experience but also provided insight into the cutting-edge innovations shaping the attractions industry. The significance of hearing my voice resonate within the attraction is a surreal experience, as it adds a personal touch to the narrative, making Jenna come to life in a way that feels both authentic and magical. This collaboration has not only expanded my horizons in the world of attractions technology but has also left an indelible mark on my creative journey, reminding me of the limitless possibilities that arise when technology and storytelling seamlessly intertwine.
